APC chairmanship: Saraki, Dogara, Okorocha for Oshiomhole

There are signs that the initiative of the National Assembly has upheld the application of previous Governor of Edo, Adams Oshiomhole, as he pronounces his offer for the national chairmanship of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja on Thursday.

Oshiomhole told newsmen in Benin on Wednesday that President of the Senate, Dr Bukola Saraki and House of Representatives Speaker, Mr Yakubu Dogara, would join top individuals from the gathering at his presentation.

He likewise said that Imo Governor, Rochas Okorocha, would lead governors chose on the gathering's stage to the presentation which would hold at TRANSCORP Hilton.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the previous senator is favored to supplant active director of the gathering, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun after he got the support of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Oshiomhole said he was joining the chairmanship race to add to the development of the gathering.

As per him, truly I mean to make my aspiration known to our gathering individuals and Nigerians.

"I unequivocally trust that with the experience I have accumulated in my open life, having filled in as President of NLC, legislative leader of Edo, I have what it takes to take our dear gathering, the decision party, to the following level."
