Sagay To Senate: You Are The Real Enemy Of Democracy, Not IGP

Prof. Itse Sagay, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC) on Wednesday said the senate through their activities are constituting themselves as perils to Nigeria's majority rule government and not the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris. 

The Senate has announced the IGP as an adversary of majority rule government, saying he is unfit to hold an open office. 

Senate President Bukola Saraki declared this on Wednesday amid whole at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja, the country's capital. 

In any case, talking in a visit with sources, Sagay said the IGP can't be said to disregard the senate as he sent an agent who is a DIG yet was dismissed by the Senate. 
He said by deserting their authoritative obligations to visit their partners who are confronting trial, the national get together has demonstrated they are the genuine foe of majority rule government. 

"By no means! I don't think the IGP has constituted himself as adversary of our majority rule government". 

"It is the lead of the senate that constitutes risk to majority rule government due to the way they much of the time desert their protected duties and move all at once to participate in solidarity visits to their individual individuals who are experiencing trial in healing centers or different spots. That means that relinquishment of popular government" . 

"They have frequently manhandled their rights under this vote based system and have shown that they are not adequately develop to work in liberal vote based system. That is the thing that I have seen".
